"Afterlife with You" is a short linear visual novel about Khnumhotep and Niankhkhnum, two historical figures from ancient Egypt who served under Pharaoh Niuserre during the 5th Dynasty. Khnumhotep, a skilled scribe, and Niankhkhnum, the royal manicurist, are immortalized in their shared tomb at Saqqara, a rarity that suggests a significant bond.

In the shadow of Pharaoh Niuserre's reign, Khnumhotep and Niankhkhnum, a scribe and a royal manicurist, are thrust into a whirlwind of palace intrigue. Accused of impropriety, they must navigate the treacherous waters of court politics to clear their names.

Amidst the riotous colors of the Festival of Opet, a clandestine exchange of amulets deepens their bond, setting the stage for a life-changing decision to become lovers (by the Nile at sunset).

Compelled by their profound connection, they propose a shared tomb, an eternal sanctuary reflecting their intertwined lives. As they meticulously craft their final resting place, they unknowingly prepare for a journey beyond death.

Their passage through the Egyptian underworld is fraught with trials. Will their love withstand the tests of the afterlife? Can they find eternal peace in the Field of Reeds? The answers lie shrouded in the mists of the gods...
