HASALYNX GAMES TERMS OF SERVICE

I. GENERAL

The terms of service will be updated periodically. It is your responsibility to regularly check them for permissible use of the items you are purchasing.

By purchasing any product published by Hasalynx Games, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to abide by the terms of service. Thank you for understanding and agreeing to comply with the terms set forth by Hasalynx Games.

II. VISUAL NOVEL GAMES

1. COPYRIGHT.  All PC games featured here are creations of Hasalynx Games and are owned by Hasalynx Games. This ownership includes all images, videos, text, and the  game application itself. However, the music, sounds, fonts, cursors, and other materials created by external contributors remain under the ownership of their respective creators. These elements have been used in our games under Creative Commons or public domain licenses, in accordance with the terms set by their owners, and each contributor has been acknowledged in the game credits.

2. TIMELY PURCHASE. It is your responsibility to download everything within 2 weeks of purchase. Please note that Hasalynx Games reserves the right to unpublish  games at any time - either due to a pending update or simply because we are ceasing the distribution.

3. PERMITTED AND FORBIDDEN USE.

Your purchase entitles you to install the game on your computer for personal enjoyment.

You are welcome to write a review of the game on your private blog, but please refrain from copying any text or graphics from our itch.io pages, as they are protected by copyright. Additionally, while you may take screenshots of the game and share them, we ask that you avoid capturing images that disclose extensive content, such as complete text backlogs.

Regarding streaming, we do not support the broadcasting of our games in their  entirety, as it constitutes a form of redistribution that can negatively impact our sales. Instead of purchasing our games, people might choose to watch gameplay, which does not generate the necessary revenue for our studio to thrive. For this reason, you are only permitted to stream brief clips in accordance with these guidelines, focusing primarily on your personal commentary and reactions.

Continuing, we do not encourage uploading our games to external databases. We aim to cultivate a community directly on our itch.io platform, rather than dispersing it across various databases where we have no possibility to interact with users. If you have to upload our game to some database please note that copying text and images is not permitted, so you'll have to write your own text and capture your own screenshots.

You are prohibited from borrowing, sharing, redistributing, or reselling the game. Uploading the game to torrents, file-sharing platforms, or game download websites is strictly prohibited. Making physical copies is also not allowed, except for one copy for personal use, such as installing it on both home computers or storing it as a backup.

Derivative works (aside non-commercial fanfictions) are not permitted. Please note that unauthorized translation of the game's text and redistribution is also a violation of intellectual property rights owned by Hasalynx Games.

Lastly, altering the game, its content, or its code in any way is strictly prohibited and is not permitted under any circumstances. Any unauthorized modifications to the game, its content, or its code are a violation of the terms of use and may result in legal action being taken against the individual or individuals responsible.

III. PRINT & PLAY GAMES

1. COPYRIGHT. All print & play games published here are protected by copyright. 

2. TIMELY PURCHASE. It is your responsibility to download everything within 2 weeks of purchase. Please note that Hasalynx Games reserves the right to unpublish  games at any time - either due to a pending update or simply because we are ceasing the distribution.

3. PERMITTED USE.

Your purchase entitles you to download the print & play game, which you may print, assemble, and enjoy. You agree to use the print & play games solely for entertainment purposes. You are permitted to print up to five copies of the game to gift, free of charge, to your friends and family. Please note, printing more than five copies constitutes redistribution and is strictly prohibited.

You are also welcome to review the print & play game on your private blog. However, you are strictly prohibited from modifying, sharing, distributing, reselling, or otherwise transferring the PDF file containing the printable materials to third parties. Additionally, taking screenshots of individual cards to share the entire deck is not allowed because it is a form of redistribution.

Further, these print & play materials are considered finished products and must not be used as assets for incorporation into other creative projects. It is strictly forbidden to integrate them into other games (physical or digital), apps, websites, or crypto/NFT projects.
