"Legends of Phalana" is a linear visual novel blending two captivating stories from Joseph Jacobs' "Indian Fairy Tales" (1916): the ardent "Loving Laili" and the intrepid "How the Raja's Son Won the Princess Labam."

In the kingdom of King Dantal, Prince Majnun and his friend Husain, the wazir's son, embark on a hunting expedition to the distant Phalana Country. This realm is ruled by King Munsuk, father to two princesses: Labam and Laili.

One fateful night, as Laili slumbers, the angel Khuda appears in a dream, prophesying her marriage to Prince Majnun. Upon seeing Prince Majnun for the first time, Laili falls deeply in love. However, before their union can be realized, Majnun departs hastily, leaving Laili heartbroken. In her despair, she flees into the wilderness.

Enraged by his daughter's disappearance, King Munsuk vows to protect his remaining daughter, Labam, from a similar fate. He declares that any suitor seeking Labam's hand will face death...

Meanwhile, in a neighboring kingdom, Prince Akash, son of Raja Ananda and Queen Rani, ventures into the jungle on a hunting trip. There, he encounters Hiraman, a wise parrot, who tells him of the beautiful Princess Labam...

Captivated by the description, Akash leaves his parents behind and journeys through the jungle, befriending various animals and meeting mystic fakirs along the way...

Using ancient Indian magic, Akash eventually reaches Phalana. Determined to win Princess Labam's hand, he faces King Munsuk's brutal trials designed to break his spirit. As these events unfold, Laili remains lost in the wilderness...

Will Laili and Labam find their way to their destined princes, Majnun and Akash? Or will fate intervene, altering the course of their lives forever?
